Best Treatments for Fall: Sclerotherapy, CO2, Chemical Peels

The Three Best Skin Treatments for Fall

photo of a pretty woman in autumn parkFall is about new beginnings. There are some gentle, effective treatments that can give your face a fresher look going into the fall season. Many people come to see Jean Chapman, M.D. and the team at LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic this time of year because they’re curious to know about the best skin treatments to have during fall. Here are three options that work especially well as autumn or pre-holiday beauty treatments:

  • Sclerotherapy
  • CO2
  • Chemical peels

These three treatments offer specific benefits for specific skin concerns. They could be ideal choices whether you simply want to do something good for your skin following a busy summer or you’re looking to unveil a fresher look when you see friends and family members during the upcoming holiday season. Take a minute to learn about what each treatment offers.

What is Sclerotherapy?

Have you ever shied away from wearing shorts or skirts because you didn’t like the way your legs looked due to varicose or spider veins? Sclerotherapy is a treatment that’s designed to eliminate varicose and spider veins. A solution is injected into the vein using a fine needle during what is typically a 15-minute procedure. This salt solution acts to irritate the lining of the blood vessel. This causes the blood vessel to collapse and become reabsorbed into the surrounding tissue. This ultimately turns the problematic blood vessel into scar tissue that will fade away. Results are typically seen within a few weeks. The fall season is a great time to have sclerotherapy treatments done if you want to wear dresses to events during the holiday season without being self-conscious regarding your legs. This is a procedure that works for clients of all ages. In fact, it’s important to know that the notion that spider veins only happen to older women is completely false.

What is a Chemical Peel?

Who says that spring is the only season for rebirth? New skin can blossom with the help of a chemical peel. Chemical peels improve the appearance of skin on the face and neck through high-level exfoliation. This procedure can also be done on the hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin to induce exfoliation during a chemical peel. Old skin peels away and reveals regenerated skin that is smoother. This is a great option if you’re looking to achieve smooth skin with fewer wrinkles. It’s often used by people who are interested in treating wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes and mouth. It can also be useful for addressing sun damage, age spots, freckles, dark patches, mild scarring and certain types of acne. Chemical peels can make the skincare products you use work better because dead skin cells will no longer be blocking absorption and penetration. Fall is an ideal time of year to do a chemical peel because the new skin that emerges will need to be kept out of the sun for a few months.

What is a CO2 Treatment?

Fractional CO2 skin resurfacing removes skin layers through vaporization instead of with chemicals or sanding devices. The treatment is applied by directing concentrated beams of pulsating light at the skin. A laser vaporizes damaged skin cells at the surface and removes thin layers of skin. CO2 laser treatments are popular among people seeking to reduce wrinkles, blemishes and skin irregularities. This procedure is usually completed in under an hour. Healing takes between 10 days and 22 days.

Botox & Facial Fillers Combined for A Liquid Lift

photo of an attractive older woman with white hair | LaserMedEven for those young at heart, advancing years can become apparent on the face. For some, this inspires the desire to ‘turn back the clock’ with facial rejuvenation. In certain cases, however, traditional techniques such as surgical facelifts are contraindicated or can simply feel like a really big step. Fortunately, it is now possible to have a liquid facelift, an anti-aging procedure that provides the rejuvenating effects many patients desire without the need for surgical treatment.

What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift creates an extensive and long-lasting anti-aging effect through the use of multiple injectable treatments, specifically facial fillers and products such as Botox. While such dermal injectable treatments are often used in isolation to treat one or more targeted skin areas, a liquid facelift can provide a custom-tailored treatment for multiple areas and even the whole-face.

How does a liquid facelift compare to a surgical facelift?

A liquid facelift offers numerous benefits over the traditional surgical approach to this procedure. One of the primary advantages for many patients is that a liquid facelift eliminates the need for general anesthesia and hospitalization: the procedure is instead performed in an outpatient setting and with minimal discomfort.

Another main advantage lies in the lack of downtime associated with a liquid facelift. A standard surgical lift can require weeks of recovery and can include unsightly swelling and bruising. However, the use of facial fillers can make the results of a liquid facelift immediately apparent and the process allows an immediate return to normal activities.

A further advantage of a liquid facelift is the ability to readily modify and enhance the results over time as aging continues. It is generally desirable to ‘touch up’ a liquid facelift a few years after an initial procedure, providing a subtle and adaptable anti-aging effect that adjusts to the on-going changes of the facial appearance. The significantly reduced investments in both time and money make such follow-up facelifts appealing and affordable to maintain.

What types of liquid facelifts are available?

The process of liquid facelifts was recently pioneered by a Brazilian plastic surgeon. Since those first treatments, a number of techniques have been combined to suit the needs of individual patients during liquid facelifts. Generally, the procedure is performed with a focus on the three regions of the face: upper, middle and lower. Some physicians, however, prefer to use an 8-point approach to designing their patients’ liquid facelifts.

The choice of the specific technique or techniques used in each facial region will depend on whether the goal is to lift the entire face or only certain features within each region. While facial fillers are applied in areas that have lost their fullness, other facial injectables are used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Products commonly used in liquid facelifts include Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Radiesse, Restylane, Perlane and Sculptra.

Summer Friendly Ultherapy in Atlanta

Sunscreen, sunglasses, a cold beverage and summer friendly Ultherapy. It’s the perfect complement to your summer, lifting and tightening skin while boosting collagen when other facial revitalization treatments keep you holed up inside. FDA approved and non-surgical Ultherapy is our best treatment to rejuvenate your skin during our steamy, sunny summer. Ultherapy has been such a huge success at LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic that Dr. Chapman has become the leading provider for Ultherapy® in the Atlanta Metro market.

Most of us are concerned with how we show the signs of aging. Some factors that influence visible aging are within our control, including sun exposure, weight changes, and smoking. Unfortunately the effects of gravity, genetics and gradual loss of collagen, which the skin needs to maintain youthful contours, are out of our control. Until now that is. Ultherapy can reduce various signs of aging such as wrinkles, sagging skin and fine lines. It enhances the production of collagen, and that results in tighter and more lifted skin on the whole face and neck area. As well, it can be used to treat specific areas such as jowls at the jaw line, lower or upper face, neck, the brow/forehead and the décolletage, or combinations of these areas depending on your areas of concern.

How Does Ultherapy Work?

Ultherapy works by making use of ultrasound. It generates images of the inner layers of the skin plus it shoots “life giving” heat into those layers. Without affecting the surface of your skin, Ultherapy delivers ultrasound energy to the deep layers of tissue. This heat stimulates collagen production, giving your skin strength and elasticity. And it is the collagen that firms and tightens the skin.

tighten neck skin Ultherapy, Atlanta

During treatment, it’s normal to feel some warm tingling on your skin, or a sensation similar to the snapping of a rubber band, but that only lasts during your session. After the treatment, you skin could appear flushed, red and a bit sensitive. These side effects are only temporary and should disappear in a few hours. You can feel confident in committing to Ultherapy, which is extremely safe and FDA-approved!

Prolong the Results of Your Ultherapy

Patients treated with Ultherapy will benefit from collagen stimulation between 1-3 years after the procedure, although the condition of your skin and the aging process will play a role in the longevity of your results. Patients may choose to have a touch up treatment at some point after the first year. How can you prolong the longevity of your treatment? By practicing good skin care and following these tips:

  • Avoid sun exposure during 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Always wear at least an SPF 30, even during fall and winter months
  • Reapply sunscreen every 90 minutes when you’re outdoors or swimming
  • Eat a healthy & balanced diet and drink plenty of water

LaserMed is proud to be one of the first providers of the Ultherapy treatment in the North Georgia area. If you feel that you could be a candidate for some uplifting summer skin rejuvenation, please contact us to set up a consultation with Dr. Jean Chapman. LaserMed is conveniently located in Johns Creek and a quick drive from Alpharetta, Milton, Cumming, Sugar Hill, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Marietta and all parts of Atlanta.

Spring Skincare Tips

photo of beautiful woman touching her face over green blooming garden backgroundSpring is here and that means the warm, sunny days of summer and days at the beach or poolside will soon be upon us. Winter is over and it’s time to make a change in your skincare routine, especially if the last few months have been particularly harsh. Now is the time to begin thinking about skincare tips to enhance and protect your complexion and the overall health of your skin.

Sun Protection Is a Must

As wonderful as the sunshine feels on your skin, those rays can do extensive damage. The ultraviolet rays of the sun can cause premature wrinkling and aging, in addition to making you more susceptible to skin cancer. Always protect all parts of your skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight by wearing a skin protectant with a high SPF number.

While SPF creams are good protection against some ultraviolet (UV) rays, it’s still not enough to guard your skin all year round against long wave UVA rays and short wave UVB rays that can cause harm deep into the dermis, the thickest layer of skin. An SPF product doesn’t identify the levels of UVA/UVB protection provided. In order to obtain full solar radiation protection, one of the skincare tips that helps keep skin younger looking is to seek out products that contain titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide. These minerals reflect light, and with an SPF of 35 or more, they offer full spectrum protection for your skin.

Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize!

Post-winter weather means no more dry heat in the home, giving your skin a chance to replenish months of lost moisture. Keeping aging skin hydrated while adding protection from UV rays with a high SPF lotion is a great way to keep wrinkles and lines at bay. Add some tint to that moisturizing cream and now you have a makeup, sun protectant, and moisturizer all in one. Take care of your fine facial skin by ensuring it’s kept hydrated, but keep in mind that you also want to guard against the sun and still add color to your complexion by using a tinted moisturizer.

Use a high-quality scrub to exfoliate the winter’s rough, dead layers of skin.Look for exfoliants with natural ingredients like sugars or with beta hydroxy acids. Follow up with a mild cleanser to remove the last traces of dead skin and grime. You can massage and exfoliate your skin at home using Supracor Exfoliators available at LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic, located in Johns Creek and serving the Atlanta area, including Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, and Cumming.

VelaShape™ for Skin Tightening

photo of a female squeezing cellulite skin on her legs | VelaShape | Atlanta areaMany people commonly develop a lumpy, dimpled appearance on certain bodily areas, such as the arms, backs of the thighs, the stomach, or buttocks. These fat cells, called cellulite, lie just beneath the skin and can develop due to various causes. Poor diets, lack of exercise, yo-yo dieting, hormonal changes, or genetics can be the reasons for cellulite development. Cellulite tends to occur more often in women than in men, and the resulting “cottage cheese” look is usually quite undesirable. Exercise, dieting, and other methods generally do not work on reducing cellulite or on tightening the skin back to its original contours.

Skin Tightening Treatment for Cellulite

The only non-invasive, FDA-approved product that helps reduce cellulite and re-contour the body is VelaShape. This device, when administered by your local Atlanta area dermatological laser center, can effectively contour and slim your body lines by diminishing pockets of fat and firming up those problem areas. With in-office sessions that allow you to receive treatment and immediately return to work or to your regular daily activities with no downtime, VelaShape provides you with dramatic results for newly toned skin.

How Does VelaShape Work?

The VelaShape device works using an infrared laser, bipolar radio frequency energy and mechanical tissue manipulation (suctioning and massage rollers) technologies. The treatment operates to apply deep heat to the fat cells, their nearby connective tissues, and dermal collagen fibers. The heating, massaging, and suctioning work to stimulate new collagen and elastin growth, resulting in tightened skin, increased volume, and better skin structure and texture. The skin’s surface will be smoothed and the appearance of cellulite noticeably reduced. The treated area will also be reshaped, with an obvious reduction in size.

The Treatment Experience

Skin tightening and cellulite reduction with VelaShape is as comfortable as getting a warm, deep-tissue massage in a medical spa. If you are finding that the treatment is becoming uncomfortable at all, the parameters can be adjusted with ease. For a few hours after your treatment, the warmth you’ve experienced will remain with you, perhaps accompanied by a slightly pink appearance in the area treated.

Jean Chapman M.D. at LaserMed Skin & Vein Clinic offers VelaShape treatments for their patients who are seeking cellulite reduction and/or skin tightening and contouring. Jean Chapman M.D. can determine if you are a good candidate for VelaShape or whether another option for skin tightening would better suit your needs. The LaserMed Skin & Vein Clinic, located in Johns Creek, Atlanta, is proud to serve the surrounding areas of Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, and Cumming.

Micro Needling RF for Tightening & Rejuvenating the Face

photo of senior woman sitting outdoors | LaserMedMicro needling RF is one of the most successful collagen inductions on the market. It is an all-inclusive Micro needling technique that adds radiofrequency for optimum results. In fact, when these two outstanding techniques are combined it gives your skin the boost it needs.

Reduces Wrinkles and Fine Lines

Micro needling RF is most known for its ability to reduce winkles and fine lines. Not only does it include treatment for skin laxity but it also helps you achieve skin tightness. Other wrinkle treatments consist of skin tightening, textural changes and facial dermal volumizing.

Skin Contouring

Micro needling RF is also wonderful in skin contouring and reformation. For instance, it helps tighten the tissue of the skin and produces new collagen to make your skin look younger. In addition, the collagen helps clear blemishes.

Improves Scars and Blemishes

Micro needling RF is one of the most often used techniques for treating blemishes and scars caused by trauma and acne. It is a non-surgical treatment that can easily be performed in an office. As well, according to the Prime Journal it is a safe procedure for all skin phototypes. In addition, it is a lot more cost effective; the procedure is much simpler than other techniques and has minimal downtown.

And unlike many other techniques, Micro needling RF can be used on sensitive areas such as near the eyes. Plus, with Micro needling RF there are no demarcation lines formed between untreated and treated skin which is common with other resurfacing procedures. This means that there is no need to feather the whole face like other treatments. In fact, specific areas that are scarred can easily be treated.

Another great benefit of Micro needling RF is that there is no risk of photosensitivity which is often the case in many types of scar treatments. As well, there is no post-inflammatory dyschromia.

Side Effects

Micro needling RF side effects are very mild which makes downtime treatment very minimal. As well, many patients resume their normal activities within a day. Some of the side effects include slightly red or mild pinpoint bleeding with patients who have very vascular skin. Generally this condition only lasts for about 24 hours. As well, the skin may feel a little like sandpaper for 2-3 days.

UltraShape Power – Fat Reduction that Really Works!

logo for UltraShape Power | Dr. Jean Chapman | LaserMedUltraShape Power – a new fat reduction that is renowned as the latest technique to really work. Conferring to a post on Jul 18, 2016 from PR Newswire, UltraShape Power makes evident a 32% decrease in abdominal fat layer thickness and delivers a 20% increase in Acoustic Energy. Moreover, PR Newswire announces that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave clearance for UltraShape Power, a non-invasive fat destruction device.

What is UltraShape Power?

UltraShape Power is a non-invasive treatment that is FDA approved to permanently destroy fat. It is the only treatment that can be customized to fit exclusive conditions for specific body areas regardless of fat thickness. Moreover, it is known as a special method that delivers results in only 12 weeks!

The technology behind this exciting device utilizes pulsed, focused ultrasound. This specialized ultrasound is programmed to selectively destroy fat cells without using the obvious drawbacks of numbing, freezing or heating. Further, the pain factor is said to be 0.07 / painless on a scale of 1-10.

Smiling elderly woman working out | Laser MedHow it Works

Basically, the advanced dynamics utilize swiftly changing pressure waves that generate vapor cavities in the body’s fat cells. The intensity of the rapid movement puts stress on the fat cell membranes, making them to rupture. In the meantime, all nerves, connective tissues, blood vessels and surround skin are unharmed.

The method has the immediate ability to destroy and reduce fat in a uniform way without any heat or cold sensations or pain. As well, there are no lasting indentations or grooves.

Particular Facts

UltraShape Power has a wide variety of benefits including the use of non-invasive methods for reducing fat cells. And by releasing waves of ultrasonic energy, UltraShape Power can target specific areas of unwanted fat. These numerous advantages for contouring the body include:

Marginal Risk

Since UltraShape Power is a nonsurgical and noninvasive treatment, there is a marginal risk of complications. In fact, there is no swelling, bruising, surgical scars or anesthesia.

Only Selective Target Fat Cells

With the use of controlled ultrasound waves, specific fat layers underneath the epidermis can be selected. This is the ideal location for body sculpting because it is where fat is stored. Moreover, there is no damage around the muscle, skin or tissues since UltraShape Power utilizes non-thermal energy to get rid of fat cells.

Results are Long Lasting

UltraShape Power is designed to be long lasting. In fact, the fat cells that have been destroyed cannot return. In addition, patients generally see immediate results with minimal downtime. In truth, the procedure is rather quick and stress-free. Remarkably, patients can easily walk in and have the procedure and then leave without bandages, anesthesia or post-operative care.

And for even better results, patients are advised to maintain their present weight by getting plenty of exercise and eating healthy.

At LaserMed Skin & Vein Clinic, Dr. Jean Chapman, M.D. is dedicated to providing the utmost quality service and personal care. Not only is Dr. Chapman experienced in performing the latest techniques with many successful treatments but she constantly strives to advance in all aspects in modern aesthetic medicine. UltraShape Power for Ultimate Body Contouring

ultrashape-power-blogDo you have this dilemma? You feel strong and fit in your body. You work out regularly with cardio and strength exercises, make healthy food choices, moderate your caffeine and alcohol intake, maybe even meditate or enjoy yoga. You’ve never really paid much attention to your actual weight, because you believed that your healthy lifestyle would result in the body you wanted, and usually your reflection in the mirror supported that.

Then one day, a slinky dress that hasn’t seen the outside of your closet for many months feels a little snug before a special event. You could blame it on hormones, too much salt, intestinal bloat, even on your washing machine. Maybe you had gotten used to wearing loose tunic tops and swingy dresses, or won’t leave the house without your compression shapewear. You didn’t realize that your fitted clothes weren’t fitting right, you simply were relying on other alternatives to accommodate your changing body. What you might not have considered is that all that healthy living may still not result in where and how any excess fat may decide to locate. For some, fat distribution is not equal, especially as we age and our hormones change. Your response – more exercise, eliminating certain food groups, abstaining from that glass of wine with dinner, drinking copious amounts of water. And as you might notice a difference in your arms, legs, chest and maybe derriere, weeks later that tummy pouch, bra back bulge or donut around your middle is still there. Those are the subcutaneous fat pockets that exercise and diet alone can’t tackle.

And that’s where UltraShape Power shines. UltraShape Power enables fully customizable treatments to meet the unique needs of all of our patients and delivers up to 32% permanent fat reduction. The new UltraShape Power reduces the fat layer thickness targeting the stubborn fat that even diet & exercise fail to eliminate. It uses pulsed and targeted ultrasound technology to target and instantly destroy fat cells safely and comfortably, leaving surrounding nerves, blood vessels and tissue protected. Three half hour treatments, spaced two weeks apart, deliver significant results. No incisions required, and the procedure does not require any type of anesthesia. Because the typical side effects associated with other body contouring methods, notably bruising and soreness, are not experienced, you can return to normal activities right away. The basic requirements after treatment are to drink lots of water, eat healthy, and continue to exercise.

Common Treatment Areas

Problem areas can occur on many different areas of the body, but most people suffer from stubborn fat in the most common areas of fat retention. UltraShape Power excels when treating the following areas:

  • Stomach
  • Hips/love handles
  • inner and outer thighs
  • Bra line
  • Knee fat pads

After the prescribed number of treatments, often within 2 weeks of the initial treatment, results become evident. Many patients report a loss of two to three inches in the treated area, which can result in the patient dropping one to two sizes. Following the destruction of localized fat cells, fat pockets in the treated areas should be greatly reduced. And because the fat is destroyed in a controlled, subtle manner, the skin naturally retracts rather than becoming saggy.

Are Results Permanent?

UltraShape Power is a permanent fat reduction method given that impacted fat cells do not grow back. However, that does not mean you can give up the healthy lifestyle, as the remaining non-ruptured cells can still expand, causing weight gain. And, we stress that it is not realistic for our patients to expect miracles. UltraShape Power is most effective when used as a spot treatment for hard to lose areas, not as a substitute for overall weight loss. Commitment to maintenance of your sleeker profile is key to success. It might just be time to give those compression undergarments a vacation!

LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic is located in Johns Creek and serves the Atlanta area including Alpharetta, Milton, Duluth, Norcross, Roswell, Cumming, and beyond. Call or email to schedule an appointment or ask any questions you may have about the new UltraShape Power. Or attend our monthly Open House for a discussion with Dr. Chapman about how this procedure can benefit you.

Fall is a Great Time for Fractional Laser Resurfacing

What is Fractional Laser Resurfacing?

photo of an attractive senior woman | Laser Med Skin and Vein Clinic At first glance, Fractional Laser Resurfacing sounds like something out of science fiction: using lasers to encourage skin healing to erase lesions, discolorations, and wrinkles. But the technique is actually well studied and has been in use for several years. Essentially the therapy consists of a laser firing in short bursts at the problem areas of the skin: wrinkles, age lines, and other unwanted features. After the treatment finishes, the skin itself then works its magic, healing the areas that the laser resurfaced, culminating in much smoother and cleaner skin.

The DOT therapy, as performed by Dr. Jean Chapman, MD, adds additional advantages over a traditional laser resurfacing that are numerous. While in traditional therapies it can take several weeks for the skin to heal after the procedure, and can result in discomfort and even mild bleeding in the affected areas, DOT therapy is a far more accurate and narrowly tailored procedure. Rather than covering the whole affected area with laser energy, the DOT therapy instead fires in a very limited pattern, focused on the problem areas themselves, resulting in a quicker recovery time of mere days, minimal discomfort, and best of all, very accurate results. But why try it out this autumn?

Why Fall?

Now is a perfect time to consider a Fractional Laser Resurfacing procedure at LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic. Many of the skin blemishes and wrinkles in our faces occur due to the intense heat and UV damage caused by the bright summer sun. The increased hours of daylight, coupled with the beautiful weather that makes outdoor activities far more likely, means that your skin has had to deal with a lot for the past three or four months. As temperatures cool off and we begin to prepare for the winter ahead, it is the perfect time to try out this exciting laser therapy procedure, helping the skin to repair itself and erase many of the signs of the damage that occurred this year.

As autumn begins, now is a perfect time to consider fractional laser resurfacing. What is Ultherapy?

Portrait of mature smiling blond woman | LaserMedAging skin is inevitable, both gravity and time plays its toll. However, many specialists declare that you can correct aging skin to a more youthful appearance with Ultherapy. In fact, this procedure is said to lift the skin for renewed appearance without undergoing surgery.

What is Ultherapy?

According to Derma Network, Ultherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure developed to reduce various signs of aging such as wrinkles, sagging skin and fine lines. The procedure involves working below the surface of the skin. And unlike other procedures, it does not damage the outer layer. Instead, the skin is tightened, much firmer and lifted with the use of ultrasound technology.

The utilization of ultrasound also allows a physician to see the layers of skin. This confirms that the vitality is distributed to where it will have the largest impact.

How it Works

Ultherapy works by making use of ultrasound. It generates images of the inner layers of the skin plus it shoots “life giving” heat into those layers. As it happens, it is the heat that actually creates new collagen within the layers. And it is the collagen that firms and tightens the skin.

Areas of the Body That Can be Treated

For the most part, the procedure is used to treat facial and upper neck aging. As well, it can be used for specific areas such as the jaw line, lower or upper face, neck or forehead. As well, treatment can be safely used on the whole area.

Compared to other nonsurgical cosmetic procedures, Ultherapy is safer and is more precise leading to much better results. This is because it utilizes ultrasound technology to make images and treat the skin. What is more, when compared to having traditional facelift surgery, Ultherapy has far less down time.

Who Should Consider the Procedure?

Good candidates for the procedure are people who have skin that is less firm or sagging. However, it is best to consult a doctor to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure.

One of the most renowned clinics in the Atlanta area is LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic. The leading physician, Dr. Jean Chapman, specializes in aesthetic medicine and has extensive experience in sclerotherapy, medical laser systems, in-office vascular surgery, effective topical agents and chemical peels. Dr. Chapman is highly proficient at treating patients in the area of facial rejuvenation, rosacea, spider and varicose veins, wrinkles, tattoo removal and hair removal, scar remodeling, melasma and sun damage.

What is more, Dr. Jean Chapman (at the LaserMed Skin and Vein Clinic) has been practicing for numerous years. What is more, her recognition is immense, such as on the Speaker’s Bureau for Medicis Dysport and Fillers, on faculty for Medicis for Hands-On instructor programs and much more.

After Ultherapy treatment, patients are generally able to continue normal daily activities. In fact, there are no specific instructions that need to be used during recovery. However, some people experience a slight bit of redness. But the mild redness generally disappears within a few hours. As well, a little tenderness under the area is normal.
